Raised in this community, David Burck has long watched the area change, and seen how decisions made in Washington, DC affect the daily lives of his family, and neighbors.
He has always had a dedication to service, first, to his country, as a United States Marine, David swore an oath to protect and defend the very freedoms we enjoy as Americans. After his military service, David continued his commitment to service as an officer with the West Palm Beach Police Department, working day in and day out to ensure the safety and security of the residents of District 22. Through both avenues of service, David's desire to represent this area in the legislative body, charged with creating the policies that affect every day life for the area he loved, grew.
Now, a small business owner, David has felt the impact of how good and bad economic policies affect whether businesses, and the families they support, can thrive or crumble, at the whims of policymakers.
Now, as he and his wife, Ari, are raising their first child in the community David has called home for most of his life, he is entering a new arena of impacting the security of his community - looking to protect the vital things that make the region, and the state so special. His desire to build his own family in a safe, secure community, that has the potential to be a place where generations can live and thrive, side by side, is at the core of his mission.
District 22's rich cultural heritage, its stunning natural and environmental features, and its distinctly "Florida" way of life all deserve to be fought for. David will continue to do what he has done for all of his career - protect and defend what makes this district great.
